Welcome to my blog
Welcome to my blog, and to my world. Some of you may not know much about me so I will try to give a brief overview of me in a nutshell. Just as a disclaimer, I have no intention to offend anyone, so if I do then it was not my intention. With that in mind, lets get started.
I was born in Hinsdale, IL. on May 5th and lived in Naperville, IL. till I was 5 years old. Just before I turned 6, my family moved to Glastonbury, CT. I lived in Glastonbury until I went to boarding school in 1996 in Litchfield, CT. at a school called Forman. I was at Forman for the school year and left when the school year was over. The next 2 school years I spent in a small town called St. George, VA. at a school called Blue Ridge School. Right before spring break of my senior year, I was involved in a very traumatic situation and refused to go back to Blue Ridge so I finished my senior year at Glastonbury High School.
The week of Halloween in 2002 I was involved in an accident with a chainsaw. My best friend and I were cutting trees and I was trying to hold the tree still while he was cutting them. I felt one of the trees starting to twist toward him and I did not have time to let him know. So in an effort to keep him safe, I pushed the tree back the other direction and slipped. My right leg hit the chainsaw 2 times before I collapsed. I then spent several weeks casted before I was able to be back to normal. Luckily I have not lost any abilities and I don't even notice it. If I had to do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat.
In 2003, I met a girl that lived in Arizona and in 2004 I moved to Arizona to marry her. In 2006 we had our first girl named Emma Celeste. I nicknamed her twinkie because she was so slim, and so sweet so I figured she is skinny and sweet in the middle, I will call her twinkie. She hardly ever cried as a baby. The only time she ever cried was when she was getting shots, and even then it would only last like 30 seconds. In 2007, we had our second girl named Liliana Nicole and we like to call her Lily. Very similar to Emma, Lily was a very sweet baby and hardly ever cried herself, so I decided to nickname her cupcake because she had a little bit of a tummy but was still so sweet. So I figured, she is round and sweet in the middle so cupcake suited her perfectly. Both girls are still so sweet, I am so proud of them and could not ask for better children.
In 2008, I discovered some things with my ex that I was not comfortable with at all. I tried to do everything that I could to repair the problem, but she was not interested in this and unfortunately I had to call it quits. Now, I spend my days putting my life back together, trying to spend as much time with my girls as I can to show them the love they deserve, and try to figure out what to do next. All very hard things to do, but with the help of my parents, my family, and friends, I somehow find a way to make it through the day.
So now I have been divorced since late April of 2010, and while I am lonely, I am grateful to not be with my ex and be able to prepare myself for someone that truly deserves what I have to offer and want to give.
Some of the hobbies that I have learned that I like to do are (in no particular order): Snowboarding, Fixing cars, Mountain Biking, Camping, Computers/Networking, Playing with children, Watching lightning storms, and much more. Some of the things I really don't like are (in no particular order): Fighting/Arguing, Horror films, Listening to people constantly put me or my family down, Doing things because I "Have to", Being alone, Being with people that I don't feel like they really want me there, and having to live with something broken because I have no other option.
I love the night time because I love to see the stars. It seems so much more beautiful than the day time. The sky seems so bland when its daytime. The night has so much more to look at when it is clear out. I hope to one day have a telescope so that I can see the stars in a whole new way and would love it if my camera could attach to it so that I can take pictures of stuff I see.
Well, I think thats enough for my first post. I will try to keep this updated so that people can keep up with changes in my life that might be interested and hopefully people can get to know me a little better for who I really am.
